The DITALS Base Certification is released by the Università per Stranieri di Siena since 2016 and it is addressed to non-native speakers who want to teach Italian as a foreign language or to native speakers who want to attest a base teaching competence (requirements). The minimum level of competence in Italian required for non-native speakers is B2.

The course lasts 18 hours, 6 hours per day for 3 weeks, on Saturdays 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm. It will be activated with a minimum of 3 participants and will take place at Happy Languages Office (Aldgate Tower, 2 Leman Street, E1 8FA London).
Upon request, we can provide you with 30 hours internship required in specific cases to enroll for the DITALS Base exam.
The total cost is £360.00 and includes: 18 hours lesson, handouts, online access to useful contents uploaded on this page and an attendance certificate at the end of the course.
