People do celebrate this religious festivity all the week between Palm Sunday and Easter, the so called Semana Santa.
So let’s see some useful Easter vocabulary to learn!
Miércoles de ceniza –> Ash Wednesday
Pascua –> Easter
Lunes de Pascua –> Easter Monday
Semana Santa –> Holy Week
Viernes Santo –> Holy Friday
Domingo de Palmera –> Palm Sunday

La cruz de guía –> the cross that guides the procession
La imagen –> The image of the Virgin, Jesus or a Saint (or the statue carried during the procession)

Brotherhoods play an important role during the Holy Week, especially during the procession.
They wear some typical clocks and hoods, carry a statue of Jesus Christ and often chains to flagellate themselves.
