Italian Elementary Course: Structure and Contents
Looking for an Italian language course but you are not sure about the level?
This course corresponds to the start of the A2 level (this is how it is called in the CEFR, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
So what will you learn if you take this course at Happy Languages?
Well, first of all you will revise the most relevant topics studied during the previous level, for example the Present Tense and the Passato Prossimo.
You will learn how to make comparisons between Italian recipes and express your preferences.
Then you will move to another past tense: the so called Imperfetto.
Most of the course will be focused on the difference between Passato Prossimo and Imperfetto, in order to make you practice as much as possible and start discerning between the two different past tenses.
Also, you will learn how to use the Direct Object Pronouns with the Imperative Tense and you will study the pronoun “Ne”.
What vocabulary will you go through?
Apart from food and drinks, you will learn all the clothing related vocabulary and how to go shopping: asking about materials, sizes, colours and so on is essential to be autonomous!
By the end of the course you will be able to describe people talking about their appearance and their personality, so you will study a series of useful adjectives to use.
Moreover, you will learn words related to groceries, shops and food habits.
What is the teaching method?
Our communicative method will make you use the language straight away in real situations.
You will enjoy some lovely activities in pairs or groups and some fun games and role-plays, a great way to learn without even think about it!
