How do Verbi in -care e -gare work in Italian?
As you might have noticed, verbi in -care e -gare in Italian follow a specific rule: in some tenses, in order to keep the pronunciation of c and g the same, it’s necessary to add an h in front of suffixes starting with e or i.
This happens in some forms of the indicativo presente and in all the forms of the indicativo futuro, congiuntivo presente and condizionale presente .

Pick other two verbs in -care and -gare and try to conjugate them correctly: it’s a good practice to get used to these categories of verbs and be ready when you find one. And then, put them in sentences so that you have to choose the right form of the verb!
